Community Guidelines

A few simple rules that keep QueryKart kind, useful and honest.

QueryKart works because people are kind to each other. These guidelines apply to everything you post: questions, answers and your profile.

Be kind

  • Treat everyone with respect, especially people who are just starting out.
  • There are no silly questions. Never make fun of someone for asking.
  • Disagree with ideas, not people.

Be helpful

  • Explain the why, not just the answer.
  • Stay on topic. QueryKart is for study questions.
  • If you're not sure about something, say so.

Be honest

  • Don't post questions from a test or exam that's still running, and don't ask others to do graded work for you.
  • Give credit when you use someone else's explanation.

Keep it safe

  • No spam, advertising or links to sites selling answers.
  • No hateful, hurtful or adult content.
  • Never share personal details like phone numbers or addresses, yours or anyone else's.

If something breaks the rules

Anyone can report a post. Our mentors and admins look at every report. Posts that break these guidelines are removed. Someone who keeps breaking them may get a warning, and after that their account can be paused or closed.
